From Raw Wood to Perfected Instrument.

A Simeichu pen isn’t merely made; it is meticulously engineered and brought to life. We believe in a philosophy that blends the patient soul of natural materials with the uncompromising precision of modern technology. Follow the journey of every Chic pen, from a hand-selected block of wood to the perfectly balanced tool in your hand.

Patience, Fortified by Nature.

Our journey begins not in a workshop, but in a quiet room filled with potential. We hand-select a variety of rare and beautiful woods, chosen for their unique character, grain, and density. But selection is only the first step. To ensure a lifetime of stability and prevent any risk of cracking, every single block of wood is left to naturally air-dry for several months, sometimes even years. This slow, patient process allows the material to reach a perfect state of equilibrium. This is a commitment to quality that cannot be rushed.

The Initial Shaping.

Once a block of wood is deemed perfectly stabilized, our craftspeople begin the initial shaping. The large blocks are carefully cut down, revealing the inner beauty of the grain. They are milled into the precise wooden rods and bars that will soon become the body and cap of a Chic pen. This stage is about preparing the canvas, ensuring every piece is flawless before it meets the heart of our operation.

Where Engineering Tells a Story in Microns.

This is where the Simeichu difference is forged. Each wooden component is secured in a high-precision Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine. Guided by a digital blueprint, the machine carves, drills, and shapes the wood with an accuracy measured in microns—a feat impossible to replicate by hand. This is how we achieve the flawless fit, the seamless construction, and the engineering tolerances required for our signature airtight seal.

Meticulous Assembly.

Technology provides perfection, but the soul of the pen comes from human hands. In the assembly stage, our skilled technicians bring the components together. The precision-molded brass liner is fitted, the world-class Schmidt nib is installed and tested, and the critical inner sealing sleeve is seated. Each pen is assembled with care, transforming a set of perfectly machined parts into a functional, beautiful writing instrument.

A Tool for Life, Uniquely Yours.

Before a pen can be called a Simeichu, it must pass our rigorous final inspection. We check every detail, from the smoothness of the finish to the seamless fit of the cap. The result is a pen that is not only a reliable tool but a small work of art. Due to the natural variation in wood grain, no two pens are ever exactly alike. The pen you hold is a one-of-a-kind creation, ready for a lifetime of stories.
